China Chengxin (Asia Pacific) Credit Ratings Company Limited (“CCXAP”) was established in Hong Kong under the Hong Kong Companies Ordinance and received the Type 10 License (Providing Credit Rating Services) from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on 28 June 2012, becoming the first Chinese credit rating company from China operating in the international market.
CCXAP being a member of China Chengxin Credit Rating Group (“CCX”), is wholly owned by China Chengxin International Credit Rating Company Limited (“CCXI”). CCXI is a joint venture company of Beijing Zhixiang Information Management Consulting Co., Ltd. (“Beijing Zhixiang”) and Moody's Investors Service (“Moody's”).
China Chengxin Credit Rating Group is the oldest Chinese credit rating agency, having the biggest market share in China’s domestic market and enjoying the highest reputation in the credit rating industry in China. As the pioneer of China’s domestic credit rating industry since 1992, CCX is playing the leading role in China's credit rating industry development and enthusiasm into the international market. With the support of its parent company and endeavor of its staff, CCXAP is committed to providing credit ratings, research and credit analysis for issuers and investors in international debt market.

1992 China Chengxin Credit Management Company Limited was founded on 8 October, 1992, formerly known as China Chengxin Securities Appraisal Co., Ltd., it was approved by People's Bank of China and was China's first joint-stock non-bank financial institution offering credit rating services, finance and securities consulting and information services. In September 2002, after receiving the approval of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, China Chengxin Securities Appraisal Co., Ltd. was renamed China Chengxin Credit Management Co., Ltd. |
1997 Established China Chengxin Securities Rating Company Limited Accredited by People's Bank of China to provide credit rating services for debt securities |
1999 Joint ventured with Fitch and International Finance Corporation to form China Chengxin International Credit Rating Company Limited until 2004 |
